What is Ocean Ventures?
Ocean Ventures is a wholesale supply platform. Retailers, shopkeepers, distributors and business customers browse our catalogue, place orders for their shop, and keep their invoices, payments and outstanding balance in one account. We have supplied shops from Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra since 1999.
Who can register?
Businesses that resell or use stock — retail shops, chemists and medical stores, general and kirana stores, cosmetics counters, supermarkets, and distributors who supply shops of their own. You register either as a Shop/Seller account or as a Distributor account.
Do I need Admin approval to register?
No. Shop/Seller and Distributor accounts can register and access their account immediately after successful registration. There is no waiting period and no approval step in front of you.
How do I view my business price?
Sign in. Prices are resolved per account, so once you are signed in the catalogue shows the price that applies to your account on every product. Signed-out visitors see the public price only — another account's rate is never shown to you, and yours is never shown to anyone else.
How can I place an order?
Browse or search the catalogue, set the quantity you need on the product card, and add it to your cart. When your cart is ready, go to checkout and place the order. You can review it afterwards under Orders in your account.
Can I see my invoices?
Yes. Every invoice raised against your account is kept under Invoices in your account, with CGST and SGST shown separately, and you can open any of them whenever you need to.
Can I track my payments?
Yes. You can report a payment you have made from the Payments page in your account. It is listed as submitted until our team verifies it against the bank, and your payment history stays on the account.
Can I see my outstanding amount?
Yes. Your account statement runs a balance across the bills raised and the payments recorded, so the amount still outstanding is always visible without having to ask for it.
Do distributors have a separate panel?
Yes. A Distributor account signs in to its own panel, with the stock allocated to it, the shops it supplies, the sales it records against those shops, collections and its own reports.
